Jacksonville Marine Inc., doing business as Bluewater Marine (“Bluewater Marine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates boat dealerships and service centers in Orange Park, Fleming Island, Daytona, and Port Orange, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through bluewatermarine.com (the “Site”), by text message, by phone and email, and at our locations, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
By using the Site or providing information to us, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Contact and inquiry forms. Your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and the contents of your message, including the boat, brand, or service you are asking about.
- Email signup. Your name, email address, and ZIP code when you subscribe to our updates.
- Trade-in and valuation requests. Your contact information and details about your boat, motor, and trailer, such as year, make, model, condition, and photos.
- Service and parts requests. Your contact information, details about your boat and engine, and the work you are requesting.
- Text messages, calls, and emails. Your phone number or email address and the contents of your communications with us, including messages sent through the text messaging feature on the Site.
- Purchases and in-store visits. Information needed to complete a sale, registration, titling, warranty, or service transaction, such as your address, driver’s license, insurance information, and payment details.
Financing applications
If you apply for financing, the online credit application is hosted by a third-party provider (currently AppOne) on its own secure website. A credit application asks for sensitive information such as your Social Security number, date of birth, income, employment, and housing information. That information is collected by the application provider and shared with us and with lenders in order to evaluate and process your application. The provider’s own privacy policy and terms apply to information submitted on its website.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information using cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies, including:
- IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system;
- pages and boat listings you view, links you click, searches you run, the referring website, and the dates and times of your visits; and
- identifiers stored in cookies that let us and our advertising partners recognize your browser over time.
Information from other sources
We may receive information about you from boat manufacturers that pass along your inquiry, boat listing websites and marketplaces, lenders and finance partners, boat shows and events, advertising and analytics partners, and publicly available sources.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your questions and requests, including quotes, trade-in valuations, and service appointments;
- sell, finance, register, deliver, and service boats, motors, trailers, parts, and accessories;
- process financing applications and work with lenders on your behalf;
- register warranties and notify you about recalls or safety issues;
- send you marketing communications by email, text message, mail, or phone, where permitted by law and consistent with your choices;
- show you advertising for our boats and services on other websites and social media platforms, and measure how well that advertising works;
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our business;
- detect and prevent fraud and other unlawful activity; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. Companies that perform services for us, such as website hosting and marketing, customer relationship management, email delivery, text messaging, inventory and trade-in valuation tools, analytics, payment processing, and dealership management software. These companies may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Lenders and finance partners. If you apply for financing, we share your application information with lenders, credit application providers, and consumer reporting agencies to evaluate and process your application.
- Manufacturers and warranty providers. We share customer and product information with the manufacturers of the boats, engines, and trailers we sell and service for purposes such as warranty registration, recalls, customer satisfaction surveys, and following up on inquiries they referred to us.
- Insurance, extended service, and registration providers. When you ask us to help arrange these products or services.
- Advertising and analytics partners. Partners such as Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) collect information through cookies and pixels on the Site to provide analytics and to deliver and measure advertising. See “Cookies and Online Advertising” below for your choices.
- Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or is needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bluewater Marine, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.
- With your consent. In any other case where you direct or permit us to share your information.
4. Text Messaging
If you text us, use the text messaging feature on the Site, or otherwise consent to receive text messages from Bluewater Marine, we will use your mobile number to respond to you and to send messages related to your inquiry, purchase, or service. With your consent, we may also send promotional messages.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the information below.
- Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
- We do not share mobile phone numbers, text messaging opt-in data, or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. This information is shared only with service providers that help us deliver text messages, such as our messaging platform and mobile carriers.
5. Cookies and Online Advertising
The Site uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and the Meta Pixel, to understand how visitors use the Site and to show relevant ads on other websites and platforms. You have the following choices:
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block cookies, some parts of the Site may not work as intended.
- Google. You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on and manage ad personalization in My Ad Center.
- Meta. You can manage how Meta uses information from other websites for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
- Industry opt-outs. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
Do Not Track. The Site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
6. Financial Privacy
When you obtain or apply for financing through us, the nonpublic personal information you provide is also protected by federal financial privacy laws. We provide a separate financial privacy notice to those customers at the time of the transaction, and we maintain safeguards designed to protect that information.
7. Your Choices and Rights
- Email. Click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us. We may still send you transactional messages about your purchase or service.
- Text messages. Reply STOP to any text message.
- Phone and mail. Contact us to be removed from our marketing call or mailing lists.
- Access, correction, and deletion. You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will respond as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity, and we may retain information we are required or permitted to keep, such as sales, financing, title, and warranty records.

8. Data Security and Retention
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers, or other sensitive information through our contact forms, email, or text messages.
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to meet legal, tax, warranty, and recordkeeping requirements, and then delete or de-identify it.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Links to Other Websites
The Site links to websites we do not control, including manufacturer websites, our financing application provider, social media platforms, and map services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the updated policy.
